In the case of personal appointments such as E.g. apartment handover, viewings, etc. we ask you to wear a mouth / nose cover.

Owners meetings

The legislature has created regulations that owner meetings do not have to take place in case of doubt. The previous relaxation makes owner meetings possible under very strict conditions (hygiene concept, distance rules, etc.), but this is only given if there is a corresponding urgency and if a resolution is unavoidable. Such an urgency exists in the event of accidents, maintenance measures that cannot be postponed on communal property or the completion of important deadlines. In accordance with the federal corona ordinance valid until December 31, 2021, the community of owners remains able to act, so that decisions can be made in 2021 if necessary. You will receive your accounting documents in good time.

In the event of an urgently required owners' meeting, we must rent a room at the expense of the community of owners, which enables the participation of all persons entitled to participate while maintaining the minimum distance.

In our own conference room, which can normally accommodate just under 35 people, there are currently no owner meetings subject to hygiene requirements.

We are increasingly asked about online meetings. These are not provided for by law. In the new Condominium Act, which will come into force on December 1st, 2020, the owners' associations are granted this decision-making authority.

However, the type of implementation and the costs are to be regulated in a resolution. Since the legislature has unfortunately not made any regulations on how this should look in concrete terms. This applies in particular to technical malfunctions during a meeting or even a vote, for example.

We can understand the displeasure about the unusual owners' meetings and take them very seriously. However, the health of our customers and employees has top priority.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
